Walking through those doors the first day, my hands wouldn't stop shaking. Alcohol destroyed my relationships and left me completely isolated. Thankfully, the counselors here actually listened instead of lecturing. Sitting in these exact group circles changed everything for me. Hearing other people share their raw, real struggles made the loneliness disappear. Celebrating six months sober today. This place gives you your life back.View on Google →
Coming here felt like a massive leap into the unknown, especially dealing with all that shame I carried around. The team at Ascend Recovery Center didn't treat me like a problem to be solved, but a person worth helping. There were days I wanted to pack my bags and bolt, but the support here kept me grounded. Now, I actually wake up without that weight on my chest. It's hard to put into words, but this place truly changed my trajectory.View on Google →
Had an amazing experience here, one of the most personable groups of people to come to for recovery and truly helped me with developing the tools necessary to start my recovery. Did the 10 day detox and got exactly what I wanted out of the experience: healthy nutrition, great groups, and even your own personal TV in the rooms to help pass the time. If you're serious about your recovery and want a wholesome, worthwhile and safe place to do it, I recommend coming here.View on Google →
Every level of care in one building, so clients move through recovery without changing providers.
Medically supervised withdrawal is the safe first step for many people. Licensed practical nurses are on site 24 hours a day, and a medical provider sees new detox patients within hours of arrival. We monitor withdrawal with the CIWA and COWS scales and use medication when appropriate. Detox flows directly into the next level of care so momentum is not lost.
Residential treatment gives clients a structured, live-in environment for up to 30 days. Days are built around evidence-based therapy, group work, and time to rest and heal. With only 18 beds, staff know each client, and care is coordinated as clients step down toward outpatient. The setting is calm, supervised, and focused on stabilization.
Called Day Treatment in New Mexico, PHP runs Monday through Saturday with full weekday clinical days from 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM and an abbreviated Saturday session. Clients attend multiple clinical groups with breaks and lunch, plus individual therapy each week. It offers hospital-level structure while clients return home each evening.
IOP meets three or five days a week for about three clinical hours per day, so clients can keep up work, school, and family responsibilities. It blends group and individual therapy with continued medication support where appropriate. IOP is a common step down from PHP or residential, or a starting point for those who do not need a higher level of care.
Standard outpatient meets two or three days a week and centers on individual therapy check-ins. It suits people who are further along in recovery and need lighter, ongoing support to maintain progress. Clients can continue an existing medication regimen while living independently. OP keeps the connection to care strong as life returns to normal.
Ascend has launched virtual services so eligible outpatient clients can attend from home. Telehealth removes travel and scheduling barriers while keeping clients connected to their clinical team. Coverage for virtual care is confirmed plan by plan during benefits verification. It is a flexible option for those balancing recovery with daily life.

From the first call to the first day, the path is clear, confidential, and matched to the client's needs.
Assessment, insurance verification, and scheduling are handled together in a single conversation. Nothing a client shares is used against them.
We complete evidence-based screenings, including PHQ-9, GAD-7, the Columbia Suicide Screening, and an ASAM level-of-care assessment, to match the client to the right program.
If a client needs medically supervised detox, we coordinate a safe arrival with 24/7 nursing. If an outpatient level fits, we start there instead.
Evidence-based therapy, medication-assisted treatment where appropriate, and wellness programming carry through each level of care as clients step down toward independence.
