What should clients expect when they arrive?

When clients arrive, they check in at the suite that matches their level of care. If a client is unsure where to go, they can call ahead and our team will direct them. Parking is available on site, and staff can help with accessibility needs.

If detox is appropriate, we coordinate a smooth arrival and begin with a full nursing assessment. Clients coming for an outpatient appointment should plan to arrive a few minutes early to complete intake paperwork. We serve people from across New Mexico, including Las Cruces, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe, and have launched virtual services for eligible outpatient clients.

Who does Ascend serve across New Mexico?

Ascend Recovery Center serves adults across New Mexico from its Albuquerque campus. While our building sits in Albuquerque, people travel to us from across the region, including Las Cruces, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and Loving, Texas. For eligible outpatient clients, we have launched virtual services so that distance is less of a barrier to care.

For clients calling from outside Albuquerque, our admissions team can talk through travel and arrival logistics during the first call. For residential clients, a van is available for medical appointments and court obligations with the proper releases. Detox patients remain on site during stabilization unless there is a medical emergency, and day treatment clients come from home.
