What to Expect During PHP Treatment at Ascend?
1. Provider evaluation and plan
A medical provider sees the client within about 48 hours, and a full assessment shapes an individualized plan that begins the same week.
2. Full clinical days
From 9:00 AM to 3:15 PM the day moves through arrival and grounding, group sessions, breaks, and lunch, with a weekly individual therapy session woven in.
3. Practicing recovery at home
An abbreviated Saturday session reinforces the week's work, and evenings at home give clients room to apply new skills in their own environment.
4. Transition to IOP
As progress supports it, often up to about 30 days, clients step down to intensive outpatient care within the same Ascend system.

The right level of care
If medically supervised detox is needed, the team coordinates a safe arrival with 24/7 nursing. If an outpatient level fits, care starts there instead.
Start treatment
Once a plan and coverage are confirmed, treatment begins, with therapy and medication where appropriate carrying through each level of care.
